Practitioner - Victoria West
Victoria West has been a Naturopath for over 12 years. Starting her life as a Nurse, Victoria went on to expand her studies by completing a Midwifery course in Scotland. From here she has worked in hospitals and offices to accumulate a wealth of experience in the natural therapies industry. This culminated in studying and achieving an Advanced Diploma of Natural Medicine at the Australian College of Natural Medicine in Melbourne and then moving to Bunbury where she set up and runs the Bunbury Natural Health Centre. Victoria has set the Clinic as a centre where people can access information and multiple modalities. This wholistic approach means people can access other ways of improving their health and wellbeing, physically mentally and emotionally.
Testing procedures are also an integral part of the consultation process, involving in house testing such as darkfield microscopy, blood group typing, Iridology, and Cellular Ageing technology - all designed to help you the client find your path to health and healing.
World class, practitioner only, herbal extracts and formulations along with dietary and lifestyle advice form the basis of the treatment process- all designed to help you the client find your path to health and healing.

About Us
As mentioned above The Bunbury Natural Health Centre was established over 12 years ago by Victoria West. Victoria trained as a nurse and then midwife and started a career of natural medicine after experiencing health problems that only recovered with natural treatments.
After learning what health really is and how our current western lifestyle contributes to illness and lack of vitality, Victoria became a Naturopath so she could help inform and educated people in re-defining good health and support people to make informed choices for their health and health care.
For example, so much of our food these days has undergone significant farming and manufacturing processes. At each stage of these process’ nutrients are lost. This becomes important as Australia has the most ancient soil of almost any country and many of our foods lack sufficient nutrients (especially zinc, magnesium and selenium). It is said that our vitamin source is now 50% less than 50 years ago. This reduction in nutrients has come about mainly with the modernisation of current farming practices, of single cropping and overuse of fertilizers and pesticides. A reduction in nutrient content means our bodies miss out on the basic molecules that are so essential to run the most sophisticated of machines – the human body. Poor nutrients equal poor molecules which equals poor functioning and energy. This nutritional deficit has the potential to lead (at its worst) to an increase in disease process and at the very least a decline in energy, vitality and well-being.
To help inform you about some of these topics, information sheets will be developed on an ongoing basis for you to read.
At the Bunbury Natural Health Centre we are dedicated to the pursuit of informing and educating people about their health and the choices they have in improving well-being.
